Canton Lake Campground Reviews
Too cram packed. One camper, Becky Myers, thinks she runs the place. Avoid her at all costs. Not a friendly environment nor a place for kids.Too many drunks & way too much gossip. No respect for others property or feelings. It's more like a compound than a campground.
Sep 10, 2023 · Suzanne DallefeldIf you keep your site clean it's not too bad. You're very close to one another at each site but people usually stay on their own and don't tend to bother each other much. Some tent sites are unlevel but for the most part if you get here before dinner there are usually a few decent spots left. Bathrooms are cleaned daily now, big change from last year. Another big change is the lack of partying all night going on during weekends. It has been fairly quiet every time we have camped this year. It's been mostly pleasant!
Jun 11, 2017 · Desta JayneI’m so sad to say that we were really disappointed with their tent camping. I wanted to like this place and I wanted to be excited to stay there, but we arrived and couldn’t find one single level tent site, there was trash scattered around, no fire rings or picnic tables for the tent sites, and the port-a-johns were awful. I truly wanted to stay here, but it just wasn’t possible. We ended up moving on to the Fulton County Camping and Recreation, and were really pleased with their tent sites—MUCH better.
Aug 09, 2022 · LJ PStayed over night at this campground 3 months ago. Beautiful area, campsites are close but the people are very friendly . They made us feel welcomed. So glad we had the opportunity to meet genuinely good people. They were truly a blessing.
