Campground Charlestown State Park

Charlestown, IN 47111, USA

4.0
Beautiful state park. The campground is very quiet, nice, is clean. The sites are enough in space, not too big but not small. Some sites are full hook-ups and some sites are only electricity sites. There’s water spots near those sites for easy access to fresh water. I love that the Campground Host personally greeted us upon arrival. She is very friendly. Bathrooms and shower are well maintained and clean. There is a little playground for the small children. You can bring your dog and keep it on a leash at all times. There are a lot of trails to walk and hike and a very historic place called the Rose Island park. This is a great place to see birds, Deers, wild rabbits, turtles, Raccoon, skunks -yikes!!- and a wide variety of bugs, butterflies 🦋 … etc.. bring bug spray for the mosquitoes. We love how dark and peaceful is at night. - Stephy Rangel
