Camper Village RV Park, Dry Ridge Kentucky Reviews
No emotions or bad experience behind this review, just a few facts that I'd want to know if I were researching a place to camp. We stayed 4 nights while we visited the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.1) The campground is right along Rt. 75. There's a decent amount of road noise, including overnight.2) Most of the campground is on a hill. Even with blocks we had a hard time leveling our RV. It's hard to even find a level place to put a camp chair or picnic table.3) We didn't need anything, but there's no camp store. Also no special activities for kids or families. No complaints with the staff, very friendly. Overall summary - okay for one night passing thru but not highly recommended for a multi-night stay.
Jun 29, 2025 · Allan DayRented a cabin for a couple of days while working in the area for wedding photography. First red flag was the unkept growth of weeds and very high grass. Insects were terrible! The cabin had only two towels for bathing, and when asking for extra towels, the manager asked why anyone would want to take more than one shower a day !!!!! Keeping in mind, we were there to photograph a wedding outdoors, so rehearsal, ceremony and reception were on different days, and showers are pretty common for hygiene! 🙄. Upon entering the cabin, we found that both the shower and the toilet were leaking !!!!! Manager brought Drano to try to fix the shower drain clogged, but the toilet was never fixed. Then after suffering through the stay, having to go purchase towels and wash clothes, we were rushed to get out because the manager stated that the cabin was already rented out for the next night. Terrible customer service, bad attitude, unclean conditions, overpriced, hot water heater didn’t work; just a very poor experience and very disappointing!
Jun 23, 2025 · Serena Lindsey BlankenshipI would recommend this camp ground. We stayed here two nights when we went to the Ark museum. If you are going to the Ark, talk to the front office first, if you need a ride. This camp ground has water, electric, and sewer. Our site was gravel (which was fine) and had a fire ring and picnic table. The campground also has bathrooms with showers.
Apr 20, 2025 · Rob ArtzWhen booking it should be noted if we will be placed in “overflow”. If my family and I would’ve known we were going to be in an overflow lot, we would’ve booked elsewhere. There are many potholes when driving in thru the campground. Our sewage and water are right outside our front door. We don’t have a picnic table. We don’t have a fire ring. We have electrical wiring in our front porch and a steep hill. If you are just looking for a parking spot with a dump station then this is fine. If you want a campsite this is not it.
May 25, 2025 · Valentina GonzalesWe stayed in the RV park.Rebecca the manager was helpful and gracious. The RV park was 5 miles from The Ark Encounter, and an easy drive there. Restaurants and a Walmart were convenient to the RV Park. The pull-thru space accommodated our 36’ motorhome and a towed vehicle. The space was gravel - we did have to use our shims to level it. 50 amp, water, and sewer were available to us.We would stay there again. And the unexpected snow was a plus to us South Texans!
