Campbell Point Campground Reviews
A quiet lake front campground with clean restrooms and showers and nice spacing of units. Lake is in flood stage right now so the fishing is unknown so far. I’ll check it out. Get supplies before coming all the way in…shopping is not close.
May 29, 2025 · Richard SkinnerFantastic campground with very well maintained spots for RV and camper's. Big trucks fit just fine. Allowed to park boat trailers on the grass but all other vehicles can only have two wheels in the grass. Max 2 vehicles per party, max 8 people per party. Rules of campground are very well enforced. RV spots do not have sewer access so everyone uses the dump station. Dogs must be leashed. Boat ramps are a bit shallow so you'll need to back your trailers farther into the water to load and unload than you might be used to. Playground, volleyball net, great bathhouses that are very clean and ABSOLUTELY SUPERB marina. Marina has gift shop with necessities for sale too. You can rent a slip for your boat if you wish and/or rent a boat to use. Marina has a lovely sitting area, bathrooms, tubes to rent, free air compressor to air up your own floaties, 12 gas pumps with attendants and a tasty ice cream shop! Water temp was 85 degrees end of July. Marina also has a restaurant on the water you can pull your boat right up to and has a live band on Sundays. Quiet hours of campground well enforced and park rangers do patrol campground and waters. Short 10 minute drive into town with every amenity you could want. Will definitely come back again and again! Note: road into the area/town is very curvy with rollercoaster like hills. If you get carsick beware and prepare because you will feel it!!! Experienced drivers only!
