Camp Tracy

Campground, Children's camp ★4.0

3901 Mill Creek Canyon Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84124, USA

4.0
We went up with a big church group. The kids had SO much fun. They loved being able to shoot guns and use the bows and arrows. The staff were really cute with the kids and did a great job hosting us.If I have one piece of feedback, however, it would be this: there is a rotation where the kids get to canoe on their small pond. When asked if they HAVE to get wet, the employee said they can’t do anything about kids splashing each other. That if you want to go on a canoe you’re choosing to get wet. I think they could maybe have one canoe for kids or leaders who would like to stay dry and just tell the other canoes this is the “dry” canoe. It excluded several kids and leaders on our group who wanted to participate but didn’t feel like walking around a camp with wet shoes and shirts for the rest of the time. We also had kids with some sensory issues who would have gone on a boat had there been a way to stay dry. I think they can figure out how to include all the kids who want to participate.Other than that it was really fun! - Vanessa Boyer
