★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We went up with a big church group. The kids had SO much fun. They loved being able to shoot guns and use the bows and arrows. The staff were really cute with the kids and did a great job hosting us.If I have one piece of feedback, however, it would be this: there is a rotation where the kids get to canoe on their small pond. When asked if they HAVE to get wet, the employee said they can’t do anything about kids splashing each other. That if you want to go on a canoe you’re choosing to get wet. I think they could maybe have one canoe for kids or leaders who would like to stay dry and just tell the other canoes this is the “dry” canoe. It excluded several kids and leaders on our group who wanted to participate but didn’t feel like walking around a camp with wet shoes and shirts for the rest of the time. We also had kids with some sensory issues who would have gone on a boat had there been a way to stay dry. I think they can figure out how to include all the kids who want to participate.Other than that it was really fun!
July 15 · Vanessa BoyerWe had the opportunity to visit Camp Tracy through Venture Out. Wonderful place and not too far of a drive up Milcreek. Their fishing pond is full of algae though and was hard for fishing but the view was amazing. Other activities include archery, bb guns, and a ropes course. Place was clean and a nice quick and close getaway for the kid.
September 05 · Myra BoardmanCamp tracy is amazing. And during the fall it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is not too far from civilization, but also remote enough to set it apart. The Cell service is spotty, just as it should be while camping. And the facilities are well built and functional. I love this camp.
October 10 · James JohnThe Great Salt Lake Council has wonderful camp locations all through Millcreek Canyon. Some are just for Cub Scout Day Camps, but Camp Tracy (formerly Tracy Wigwam) offers multiple programs, including an overnight program. It is a great location. Taylor Lake is great for row boats, canoes, and kayaks. The archery and rifle shooting ranges are awesome for beginners. The heated pool in the mountains is an oasis on hot summer days. The boys learn so much - and always look forward to meeting with the friendly staff. There are always great deals at the Trading Post!
July 27 · Aaron ChristensenNot the best run, and due to the proximity to Salt Lake, I don't think they do the best with the wild feel. The camp layout is very linear, meaning a lot of walking. Overall though, the kids enjoy it, so four stars.
