Camp Shabbona Woods Reviews
My family and I wanted to do something different rather than just going to the park and celebrating the 4th of July. So we decided to celebrate the entire 4th of July weekend camping at Camp Shabbona Woods!! We had the most awesome time and it was a wonderful camping experience for the young and old!! We rented out all the cabins and had a blast!! We watch movies on our big screen projector, ate smores by the camp fires. We went on hikes, and even went fishing across the way. It was an experience we'll never forget!! We will be camping at Camp Shabbona Woods again!!

May 26, 2025 · carmelita dionicioSuper Clean Area, Love it very well managed it does close at night for the safety of the campers. Loved this for my family will definitely be coming back...
May 25, 2025 · Patricia MedranoThe staff were super helpful! The campground was well-maintained with clean bathrooms.
Jun 01, 2025 · Sagnik BhattacharyaI'll start by saying my three stars has nothing to do with the quality of the campsite. Camping was really nice and the staff was helpful. The park as a whole is pretty and bathrooms are well maintained. However, I paid $49 for a tent site arriving on my bicycle (as a non-county resident). Midwest parks need to do better to cater to tenters arriving under their own power... nearly $50 for a tent site with no vehicle is borderline ridiculous.
