★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Elaine and the rest of the staff made this the perfect birthday getaway from Chicago. My friends and I had a blast in the large cabin. $5 bundles of firewood were stocked and included cardboard/flyers for kindling. The grounds were clean and well-kept. Spacious cabin with private bath, plenty of beds, and with only three of us, we could borrow some mattresses from unused bunks to give ourselves plushier sleeping arrangements. We had a raccoon walk around our site three nights in a row while we were out by the fire. He was harmless and just looking for snacks. Got close but wasn’t aggressive. We named him Randy and wish him well.We look forward to our next trip!
June 12 · Nick McDowellAmazing place . Service excellence. They have Indoor area with some educational information about the town/camping area. They have alot of board games , card games , building blocks for the kids to play just beautiful. Going out at night was beautiful you were able to too see the dragon flies/ lighting bugs in the area . It was amazing. I will definitely come back again .
July 06 · Gina AguilarThis is such a nice and quiet campground. Im at the grace conference from Quentin Road Baptist church. It was so nice to leave and come down the road and camp overnight. Showers are nice and very clean.
June 27 · James JacobsonIt's a very nice little campground. We've stayed many times. The staff is very nice. The only complaint and it's a big one is the oce cold showers. You're very lucky if you get a luke warm shower as most of the time it's ice cold. They either need new water heaters or much much bigger ones. Hopefully, someone reads this and fixes it. It may seem petty, but when they dont have water at the rv sites for full hook ups its all you have, and its not fun freezing.
June 23 · Gary LoveNice place, close to Chicago. Staffs there are super friendly, this is my first experience camping and we will definitely come back.
