Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country Reviews
We had an issue with our check-in being delayed but Linda the visitor's center manager went above and beyond to help fix the issue. It honestly really turned around our entire trip. After that we were able to really enjoy the resort and the amenities. My daughter (7yr old) enjoyed all the craft activities, splash pad, and cliff carver. My wife and I enjoyed the hilltop pool the most cause it was less busy and felt more relaxing than the main pool. Plus, the view from the hilltop pool is fantastic. We would recommend this place to family and friends and we would go back again.
Jun 25, 2025 · Jake PateWe love it! We went in July 2023 & again in July 2025. Love the zip line and the 2nd pool up at the cabins! The staff is very friendly and we appreciate that. We had 2 requests related to our cabin and they addressed them quickly! There is room to improve cleanliness. Outside the cabins there was trash on the ground. Even outside the venue there was trash on the ground.
Jul 06, 2025 · Corey GrantWe just returned from our first family vacation at Camp Fimfo, and we’re already talking about when we’ll be back! With kids ranging from ages 1, 3, 7, and 9, it can be a challenge to find a place that truly offers something for everyone, but Camp Fimfo delivered on all fronts. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how family-friendly everything was. There were tons of activities to keep the kids engaged all day long, from splash zones and playgrounds to crafts and games. No one ever said, “I’m bored,” which is saying something with four kids! One of the things I appreciated most as a parent was how safe the pool areas were. One of my older kids isn’t a strong swimmer, but the shallow depth of the pools allowed her to stand confidently. It gave her a sense of independence, and it gave me peace of mind. That alone made the trip feel relaxing for everyone. The food and drinks were also excellent, a great mix of kid-friendly options and delicious choices for adults. It’s always a win when the food is as enjoyable as the activities!Overall, Camp Fimfo far exceeded our expectations. It was our first time visiting, but definitely won’t be our last. We made so many great memories and can’t wait to come back soon!
Jun 06, 2025 · Susanna HansonWe had the best time during our 4 days there and would go again in a heartbeat! We have 3 kids, one is a baby. Things I'd definitely change for next time - golf cart - they are honestly a must and we didn't get one this past time. Also, the fun passes are a 10/10!! Kids loved them and it gave us goals of things to check out and do. Be sure to explore the whole park, there really is so much to offer there. Everything was pristine clean and wonderful.
Jun 05, 2025 · Viviana BalujaWe stayed here for 4 days & loved all the amenities & views. Kids had a blast & we are all officially lobsters :) The only thing that ruined our stay was the coffee pot didn’t work, our room was extremely hot (bring a fan) & the outside chair arm was broken other than that the cabin was fully equipped with all cooking utensils & bedding. Would we stay again YES! Renting a go-cart made this trip even better. Kids loved it. Ty Camp FIMFO the hospitality from the staff made our trip exceptional.
