- Toilets: Restroom facilities are available, typically consisting of vault toilets. While basic, they offer essential sanitation for campers. It's always a good idea for campers to bring their own toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
- No Running Water: As noted by a customer review, there is no running water available at the campground. Campers must bring all their own drinking water for consumption, cooking, and hygiene purposes. Having sufficient water is crucial for a comfortable stay.
- Bear-Resistant Food Storage: Given the presence of wildlife ("critters"), campers should be prepared to keep all food locked away in bear-resistant containers or secured within vehicles. This is vital for safety and to protect the local wildlife.
- Trash Bins: While some sites may be near day-use areas where bins can get full, general waste disposal is usually managed through designated receptacles. However, it's always best practice to minimize waste and be prepared to pack out what you pack in, especially during crowded periods.
- Generator Hours: For groups with RVs or needing power, quiet generator hours are typically enforced, ensuring peace for all campers. Check specific regulations upon arrival.

Camp 4 Group Campground Reviews
Beautiful, tranquil camp with an amazing central fire ring. The river was full and fast flowing, very cold but refreshing. Picnic tables and a toilet are great. No running water. Nice trails along the river and only a short drive to McCloud falls. Keep all food locked away, there are critters. (Pepperoncini fans apparently, haha!)
Jun 13, 2023 · Rebecca GoldieNice campground but beware LOTS of Mosquitoes and no fish unless you are near a stocking truck. And this site is next to day use site that rude people fill up the garbage containers with tons of home garbage (I was there and saw it) I have camped up their most of my life and it now gets very crowded during any weekend or holiday.
May 12, 2019 · Mark TannehillMy favorite place in California. Visited this campsite multiple times. Even got married at camp 4. My only suggestion would be another set of garbage cans. But it's my paradise 💖
