It offers a peaceful, quiet environment that allows for genuine relaxation away from urban noise and crowds. This seclusion fosters a deeper connection with nature, whether it's enjoying a campfire under the stars or simply unwinding in the fresh air. For those seeking quiet weekdays, it's an ideal choice.

Butler / Mohican KOA Journey Reviews
Very clean. We stayed Monday through Friday morning. It was quiet and nice with pull thru sites. Pet friendly. A bit out of the way though.
Jun 06, 2025 · Paul WaschOlder KOA. Staff very nice.Park is small and very difficult for motor homes to maneuver around. Damaged my motor home leaving the park.Sites are very uneven with the drive throughs going uphill making leveling impossible.Would not return or recommend for long rigs.
Jun 03, 2025 · Nick BatchelorWe always love this campground. It’s in the hills on the edge of Amish country and absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We love the lake and pond and the amenities, as well as the staff who makes us feel at home. Despite being part of the KOA franchise, this feels like a small family business. They have great activities and amenities with lots of repeat visitors. I love that it’s off the beaten path and not near any big cities or highways. The surrounding area is really scenic and usually not crowded. We love to go hiking at nearby Mohican State Park.
Oct 30, 2024 · Mary WysongNice place, but a long ride from I-71. Nice scenery, hookups were easy, with a friendly staff. There is a lot to see and do in the area, though we were just passing through. There are some bike trails close by that also accommodate e-bikes. I wish I could have stayed there longer and checked out all the local attractions.
Oct 03, 2024 · George RossThis is a really nice, small, and quiet KOA. The staff were very friendly (Looks like kids run the show, didn't see any adults) but, they ran it great. Our check-in and check-out was very quick and smooth. Their shop is one of the most affordable ones I've been in and it's kept very clean. We went for Father's day and they had activities, but I wish the posted more about them when we checked in so we knew more about what was going on that weekend. They're fishing pond was very nice and we caught a decent amount of fish. The campsites seem to be well kept and clean. The bathrooms were clean but, I wish they had better water pressure and it would have been helpful to have a family bathroom since we have little ones. Trying to shower the little ones in the normal bath house was very cramped. All in all, very nice and friendly campground.
