While the campground upholds a 10 pm quiet time, ensuring a peaceful night's rest for most, this strict policy occasionally receives mixed feedback from families with younger children during festive occasions like the 4th of July. Burlington / Anacortes KOA Holiday Reviews
This was a beautiful KOA with fun amenities for the kids. Jim, one of the campsite workers was super friendly, helpful and worthy of a shout out in a review!I loved the little creek under the bridge. The campsite was beautiful and well maintained. The hard part is having kids with us and the 10 pm quiet time. Especially on the 4th of July. We were expected to be quiet while fireworks are loudly going off. We had some neighbors complaining and all that was really happening were kids doing s'mores and talking. That felt more like an HOA than a camping trip. However if you are looking for super low key and an almost silent camping experience, then this is the place for you.
Jul 06, 2025 · Jessie MooreWe've traveled all over the US and stayed at many KOAs. This one is absolutely one of the best that we've stayed at. The campground is beautiful with plenty of large pull thru sites, the staff is super friendly and the owner is actually on site and also very friendly not "stuffy and rigid as some owners can be. There's a security person on site who lets campers in and registers late arrivals (like we were) and who is also super friendly. The one drawback is that there's no cable for TV and antenna service as well as Wi-Fi is not very strong. But, hey, it's camping. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone wanting to visit this area. Also there's a beautiful nonsmoking casino just up the road and the Canadian border is only about 30 minutes away as well. It's situated close to shopping and other major stores. I had my nails done and haircut in the town of Burlington only 15 minutes from the campground. The Walmart is in the town of Mount Vernon also only 15 minutes away. There's a cute burger drive in joint across from the Walmart too. We already had dinner plans set so we didn't try it but it looked good. They are child and pet friendly doting over our little puppy and having several designated child play areas. Again I'm totally impressed with this fabulous place and would highly recommend it!
Jul 06, 2025 · Christina JamalA camping memory that felt way too short — just one night, two days.We finally tried the popular KOA glamping site, known for being hard to book in Canada. The campground was much more spacious than I expected, and every facility was spotless and well-maintained.It was the perfect setup for a family camping trip with kids. The children rode bikes, played mini golf, and laughed non-stop with their friends —a day full of joy and simple fun. There were even more activities we didn’t get to try…One night just wasn’t enough! But since it’s so close to Vancouver, I’m sure we’ll be going back often.Even if you’re not into pitching tents, KOA glamping is perfectfor parents who want their kids to experience the magic of camping. One more beautiful memory added to our family story.
May 27, 2025 · DZ Hair SalonWe stayed four days! Great park friendly staff! Close to sites in the Area! Our GPS took us into the park a back way. While leaving the second day to go site seeing we found the CORRECT entrance well marked!
Jul 05, 2025 · Dennis LargentStayed for over a week as our central location of the area. This was a great quet place with trees surrounding the area. Indoor pool, mini golf, walking area, jump pad, and plenty of space between rvs with grass, table, and fire pits. We enjoyed fires each night and relaxed outside. It was very busy at Memorial day, but was full of kids to play and ours had a blast out with the bike squads.
