Bobcat Campground Reviews
Beautiful area and a really nice campsite. Very peaceful. There is only one other campsite on High Lake and we did see a canoe in the woods at that site as we paddled by looking for our own site, but beyond that, we never saw or heard another person. It was perfect solitude. The pictures don’t do it justice.Yes, the bugs are crazy. Our site itself was just a typical amount of mosquitos that you’d expect in the north woods, but the portage from Crooked Lake to High Lake was like something out of a horror movie. So load up on bug spray before you even start or that first portage will be brutal. Also, I highly recommend Thermacell. They were a life saver.
