Boat Gunnel Group Campground Reviews
Site for 44th Grand Annual Regatta, Cave Run Sailing Association. Portsmouth handicap Fleet, Catalina 22s and Sunfish! In Daniel Boone National Forest, many campsites, Cave Run Dam for flood control, managed by Army Corp of Engineers. Grounds currently managed by a contractor. Launch ramps, many, are steep. Park is in foothills of Allegheny Mountains. Picturesque! We sailed 5 races over 2 days. Really engaged, enthusiastic group of sailors!
Sep 25, 2023 · Gail TurluckGreat little camping spot. Had to find a place to sleep quick before a storm set in and this worked out great.
Jun 23, 2019 · Irish GeorgeAwesome spot for group camping! Ken is a fabulous host! There are 2 spots for rv hookup. Each electrical service has a 20 amp, 30 amp, and a 50 amp connection. There are 2 of these services, so our group had no problem with 4 pop-ups hooking to shore power. Air conditioning for the win! There is also a 4 way 120 volt plug at the pavilion. Lake access is phenomenal, with an easy transition to the water. Our large group had a great time, ate Pops barbecue ( which was delicious), enjoyed the clean bathrooms, appreciated the present, but not overbearing host, and will definitely make this a yearly event! Best spot on Cave Run by far!

Jun 20, 2019 · LeeAnn ManningDid you know that this place is now gated off and set up for reserved RV spaces. Guess Federal Government can’t use tax dollars for their Parks
