Stayed 10-11 to 10-13 2024. Almost empty. I chose campsight #11. It had steps leading down to the river which can be heard from the campsight (100 yds or so). Plenty of birds (I'm a bird nerd) and other wildlife. Hiked about 10 miles on Saturday and saw plenty of signs of deer, bear and wolf. Pretty secluded but still not far away from Naubinway. DNR officer stopped in on Saturday morning and we talked a while about the surrounding area and it's wildlife. I'll def be back!!!Went back with my wife 5-15 to 5-16. Bird migration was full tilt. We were the only ppl there. Campground was spotless. This has become oneof my favorite getaway spots. - Pete McVannel
