A friend and I stayed at Black Bear Resort and did some section hiking. The owners Linda and Travis were so hospitable and informative as well as the staff. We had to make an unexpected call to ask for pick up due to weather a night we were planning to tent on the trail and Linda immediately came and found our pick up location and took us back for the night. The accommodations were very comfortable and peaceful. Sounds of the streams and the ambient lights at night, fireside with the staff, adequate bathrooms and shower and laundry area all made this a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place to stay. - Melinda Yoder
