Beautiful beach! The sand was great and there was plenty of beach to spread out. The water was shallow for at least 20 feet which was super nice.
Jun 23, 2025 · Stephanie RawlinsWe camp here every year now with a group of friends and we always have the best experience. Love making memories in this wonderful place. Bathrooms are nice, camp hosts are super helpful and friendly, and the access to the beach just can't be beat. My favorite place to camp, by far.
Jul 01, 2025 · Brittni DyeLove this place. Dog friendly. Beautiful beach. The opportunity to rent a canoe was the highlight of the stop.
Jun 13, 2025 · ByeGood campground and recreation area. Trails connect to the state park and you can walk all the way across the bay. The most private walk in site is 29. The most private drive in site is 27. All the hike in sites are pretty good. I had no signal at the campground but the office has wifi
Jun 23, 2025 · August “Bear” SchneiderWe spent a lovely night in the beautiful campground, a little rain on our tent, but not too bad. Grab it yourself wood always available. Bathroom not too far and water nearby. The best part was the beach in the bay the next morning. It was gorgeous! Thankfully it was a very hot day, so the very cold Lake Superior water was refreshing.
