Oct 02, 2022 · John BDefinitely will be back to this Ionia County gem. Was impressed with the stone bridges especially during the Masters golf tournament. They are quite similar in form. The foot trails extend for miles and Bellemy creek snakes it's way through the park. Makings for excellent trout fishing. Bath rooms are exceptional. Parking is more than adequate. Just follow all the one way signs while in a vehicle.
Apr 12, 2022 · Timothy LivermoreOver the years I have heard this park mentioned several times but have never spent time here. There was sun in the forecast for this winter day, so we decided to meet up with a small group of family and friends to be able to visit safely outdoors. We all had a nice time just hiking around and it wasn't busy. Two dollar entrance fee per vehicle (or $15 for an annual pass) and a great way to spend the afternoon. We were surprised at how much snow still remained in the woods as compared to our lawn at home but it made for some pretty views. We just took our time on the short Bear path and it was a nice stroll. We also enjoyed being able to bring our dog. Just something to mention for the winter time is there didn't seem to be any trash barrels nearby so keep that in mind as you go about the park to bring your garbage home. We saw one of the stone bridges, very nice! The sledding hill was steep and quite large, we'll have to check that out next winter. They had playground equipment near the entrance to the park. This is a nice quiet place to explore with lots of hills. We look forward to visiting again in the coming seasons to see what each is like at Bertha Brock Park!
