This is a great state park. The trout fishing is the biggest attraction for this park but there are also features worth going for A well. It has plenty of good trails. It is a good starting point for float trips on the Niangua River. There are a lot of campsites for tent camping and for RV's. One section has full hookups with 50 amp electric. There are a lot of cabins available to rent too. It has a newly built splash pad designed for kids ages 5-12. Playground equipment is nearby. It is a beautiful park that is very well maintained and kept clean. - Dave Bowmaster
