Benner's Meadow Run RV Campground Reviews
WOW, what a wonderful experience this past week!!!. My wife, and daughter have been coming to Benner's for over 10 years. We have stayed in a tent, a cabin, and a yurt. Let me just emphasize that it somehow gets better each time, Both accredited to the campsite facilities, and the customer service. The details get better. So, if you came years ago, and haven't been back, I would try it again.First off, the old shower house, is now brand new, and very nice, and a close walk. The firewood that used to take forever to light, is now dried firewood, making getting a fire started for heat or dinner much easier. The scheduling is easy to pick your site and see the availability of that exact place you want to stay. I would recommend paying the $20 early check-in (1pm), in order to unpack early and still have most of the afternoon for activities that are all around (See below for a semi-detailed list). Also, new now, is a reasonable insurance that works by paying you if you check-in, and it rains a certain amount. This is different than insurance I have seen in the past which are for if you can't make your reservation. For more details, see all of my comments below.
Jun 05, 2025 · Shayne GargalaMy husband and I stayed in a yurt during our visit. We were in the area to go to Ohiopyle white water rafting, which was close by. The yurt was fun and we loved the little porch with chairs. The path with the lights was very cozy and welcoming! The new bathhouses were very maintained and clean and they were only a short walk from the yurt. The yurt didn't have heat or ac but it was the perfect temp at night (approximately 60°). The staff were extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
May 10, 2025 · Kristen WheelerMy wife and I had tickets to a couple shows at Timber Rock Amphitheater so we booked a long weekend here and we don't regret one minute of our trip. The campground was clean, staff was friendly and there was plenty to do if you come with a family. Public pool, fishing ponds, playground, pet friendly. We would come back for sure.
Jun 10, 2025 · Kevin GrahamStayed at a cabin at Benner’s Run over Easter weekend and had a great time. Our cabin was very clean and included the things we would need for a weekend stay, including towels. We enjoyed fishing in the ponds and our kids loved the playground and riding their bikes around the campground. It’s about a 10 minute drive from downtown Ohiopyle. We weren’t able to enjoy all of the campground amenities because it wasn’t completely open for the season, but still found plenty to do and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
Apr 28, 2025 · JonnaIt was a true pleasure returning to the campground and seeing all the updates they did in the off-season. Every update they did was absolutely GORGEOUS! New gift shop, new bath houses, and best of all NEW playground. The kids absolutely loved it and it was so refreshing to see a sturdy playground out of wood.
