4.0
We hiked some of the many trails and forest service roads. This is obviously a very popular horse area. Hitching posts abundant at the trailhead and the campground actually has four mini corrals for horses if you are camping overnight. There are two huge abandoned quarries that are right alongside the trail but virtually invisible because of tree growth. We will be back to explore these quarries. Lots of logging currently so some of the forest is mostly gone but still lots of old Florida forest with huge live oaks. - Thomas Bowen
