★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Just stayed here for 4 days and it was good lots of shade. The workers who work for KOA who are up near the playground really should clean up there areas it's pretty messy and looks trashy for others who stay there and have to see all junk outside there trailers. Bathrooms are ok shower heads need to be replaced or cleaned due to hard water buildup. Actual RV spots have very big rocks that make it hard to level your trailer. Water spigots leak and create mud and bees. Over all an OK place to stay.
July 22 · Jay EWe will never return to this camp ground, no one on site if there’s problems then when we did get the manager to come talk to us after they changed the code to get in to the restrooms without telling anybody what the new code was, manager Doug was absolutely rude and pissed off that he had to come talk to us. So be aware there’s no help there when needed and for the price they charge that is unacceptable. Book somewhere else!
June 22 · Theresa ForsbergI Would avoid this camp site. There was no one in the office, only a number to callif you had questions. We called multiple times abd never received a call back.We arrived on Monday, , and they neglected to tell anyone that the code changes every Tuesday for bathrooms and the laundry room. There were at least 3 sets of campers trying to access the bathrooms and laundry room besides us.There was not even room to park our truck, even though they were given the length of our trailer upon making the reservations. My husband was told he had to move his truck from the camp site across from our site, because it was needed for a camper. We were there 3 days and there was never anyone at the site in those 3 days.We were also told they consider the truck a seperate vehicle Someone one came by in a little vehicle on the 3rd day and we told im we wanted to speak to the manager that was at the other KOA. He had an attitude before we even spoke to him. He was rude and condescending. Our friend went down to ask a question from the camp host at six pm and was told they were off the clock! Not a good experience at all!!!On the up side...Bear Lake is beautiful!
June 24 · Debra GarciaDO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!Upon arrival there was no one in the office the first 2 days. After talking to the manager on day 3 he said well that’s just the world we live in today. The bathroom code was changed without any notification to the campers. Took me some time to track someone down only to find out that they said they were off duty. For what they charge the place is a joke and the manager was rude and a total jerk!!BEWARE, GO SOMEWHERE Else!!!!
June 24 · David ForsbergOur recent stay at the KOA Campground was truly unforgettable, and I feel compelled to share our wonderful experience. After being on the road for 2.5 months with three kids under 3.5 years old, this campground turned out to be our favorite and most memorable stop. From the moment we arrived, Chuck and Audrey made our stay exceptional. Audrey, though not a native to the area, has spent almost all of her free time traveling and adventuring. Her extensive knowledge of the local region was remarkable—she provided us with invaluable tips on where to find great food, shopping, lake access, and the best hiking trails within a two-hour radius. Her passion for exploration and her friendly demeanor made her an incredible guide for us and our little ones.Chuck, on the other hand, was the epitome of warmth and hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure that our family was well taken care of. His kindness was evident in every interaction, and his thoughtful gesture of delivering firewood to our camp site truly enhanced our experience. Chuck’s loving nature made us feel right at home.If Chuck and Audrey are at Bear Lake KOA next year, I would gladly make the trip just to see them again. Their dedication and care made our stay not only comfortable but truly special. Thank you, Chuck and Audrey, for making our visit so extraordinary.
