Bayview North Campground

Concrete, WA 98237, USA

3.0
I don’t know…. Not my favorite campground. No water and too much gravel, if that makes any sense. It has really nice day use facilities, like a shelter right on the lake. The campsites are away from the lake, and they are really large and fairly separated from one another. But I think we paid $60 for a single night. In all honesty, if I had it to do over again, I would have driven further up the lake and camped at the River Trailhead. I don’t think there is any cost, and the campsites are as nice, and have a view. - Brett Poole

Situated along the shores of the 9-mile Baker Lake Reservoir, the campground offers immediate access to the water, making it a popular spot for those who enjoy lake activities.

Getting to Bayview North Campground is relatively straightforward for Washington residents. From Seattle, you would typically travel north on I-5 to Burlington, then take Exit 230 onto State Highway 20. Continuing on State Route 20 east for approximately 16 miles to milepost 82, you'll then turn left (north) onto the Baker Lake Highway (Forest Service Road 11). From there, it's about an 18-mile drive to the sign for Horseshoe Cove Campground Road (Forest Service Road 1118). A right turn and a drive of approximately 1.75 miles will bring you to the Bayview Campground signs on the left. The group campground, Bayview North, is the first drive to the left, while single-family sites are further to the right. While the primary access road is well-maintained, always be prepared for forest service road conditions. Some visitors have noted that navigation apps may sometimes direct you to Horseshoe Cove instead, so keeping an eye out for Bayview Campground signs is key.

For residents of Washington State, Bayview North Campground presents an ideal local getaway that truly embodies the spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Furthermore, the presence of excellent day-use facilities, including a lakeside shelter, means you can enjoy the beauty of the area even if you're just visiting for the day. For those who prioritize cleanliness and a quieter atmosphere, as attested by satisfied returning campers, Bayview North Campground delivers. While it's wise to come prepared with your own water supply, the abundance of recreational opportunities and the sheer natural beauty make it a highly suitable and rewarding destination for Washington locals seeking a genuine outdoor experience close to home. It's a place to return to, time and again, for its peaceful ambiance and access to the region's incredible natural wonders.
