Battlefield Campground & RV Park Reviews
Campground was probably nice at one time, but it seems unattended now. There's trash in the various empty campsites, and our water hook up leaked so bad we could not use it. Fortunately, our friends were at the next site, so we could hook up to theirs. Our site was very narrow. Our awning almost touched the neighbor's slide out.Our fire pit had 2 empty containers of antifreeze in it.
Jun 29, 2025 · Aaron HouseNot sure why the rating is so low, but we found this to be a very nice camp. We came in after the office staff left, but there was a maintenance employee who was very helpful. She explained the process to check in. The staff left copies of campsites available to be used and detailed instructions on how to fill out the paperwork. Hook ups were easy to get to with showers and laundry services available. No complaints at all.
Jun 23, 2025 · David KelseyI won’t stay here again. We needed to leave one day early and left first thing in the morning. They were unwilling to refund our last nights stay. It would make sense if they lost a booking due to our leaving but that wasn’t the case, there were tons of open spots available. The owner was unresponsive when I called many times to talk about the refund. The sites that are muddy are not level. So if you like mud, unlevel sites, and inflexible managment…then stay here! 🙄
Jun 23, 2025 · Ron OliverThis campground needs some work a lot of work! Some staff is ok and some staff isn’t it just depends on their mood I guess. Did know you had to get a different wrist band every day to get in the pool which is insane. If you want to give wrist bands for the pool give me one that last the duration of my stay. There are water connections that leak constantly the grass was really high when we arrived it’s hard to get around some of the roads especially if you have a bigger rv. Hill side lots and hard to level lots and lots that just make no sense at all. Bath house had no hot water for my shower the list goes on and on. wasplanning on giving a higher rating until the pool incident sorry not sorry
Jun 27, 2025 · NaPaul PopeCalled and spoke to a lady on Friday about staying overnight on Monday. She said a customer walked in the office and she would call me back. Never received a call back so I called back around noon on Saturday, no answer. Left message to call me. Now its Sunday and never received a call. Booked a reservation at another campground. I guess they are either super busy or don't care.
