Barview Jetty County Campground Reviews
This was a nice campground, very easy to get to ocean they have a trail that leads straight to it and it was only a 12 minute walk. They also had a little lagoon that goes out to the ocean that was maybe a 2 minute walk and very pretty with lots of cool sea creatures. The area was nice and clean when we arrived. The campsite we booked said it could fit 10 people and we only had 5 with two tents and were pretty cramped so just be mindful of that. Not sure how they calculate how many people can fit. Other than that it was a nice trip.
Jun 16, 2025 · Sharlissa CornerWe had an awesome spot! They have pretty good privacy in all of them, and even though it's a massive area with tons of spots, they have it well mapped. The beach is peaceful if windy and there were lots of dogs to say hi to.
Jul 05, 2025 · Christine TorresMany great things to say about this place. Well maintained campground, has a playground, close enough to the beach, corner store very convenient (closed on Mondays) and friendly staff.I was very disappointed however when they changed the process for utilizing showers midway through our three-night stay and never notified us. It appears that they have a code to use for the bathrooms, and it is sometimes in use and sometimes not. First night there, no code was needed, although there was a keypad, all showers were accessible. Day two we go to take our showers and can't get in. Maintenance didn't know anything. The front desk didn't know about a code requirement either. Eventually a phone call was made, and the person that decided to make it code entry did not let anyone know. My biggest problem with this is there should be a standard protocol for showers. You either need a code or you do not.If you are change your bathroom entry process midway through a stay, let campers know.Shower time with a toddler and elderly mother isnt the easiest, so gearing up and walking to showers and waiting for answers on how to get in just really sucked, especially when no one knew anything.
Jun 04, 2025 · Sarah CrewsWell the officer who helped me find a site was AWESOME! But the campground was TERRIBLE! Want to be crammed in with a million other tents?! Want to hear a crap ton of drunk Adults, children, and dogs carrying on like a festival party all night long? Want to hear a fog horn every few seconds in the wee morning hours? Want a disgusting bathroom situation if you're lucky enough to be near one? Then this campground is alllll for you!!
Jun 29, 2025 · Mel TaylorThe campground was loud, campers blasting music, drunk/non-drunk people yelling late into the night. Not quite, no campers etiquette, bathrooms are ran down, the hosts are not asking ppl to follow rules. If you want a good camping experience do not come here.
