Mar 08, 2025 · Maia BourdoumisStayed there with a large group for a seminar, the people that run the camp do an excellent job! Trash stays gone, toilets stay clean. And the primitive sites are all a good distance away from each other offering your own oasis. There also is not a site with a bad view of the river, the river is a great place to swim and the ranch has a tone of wildlife to view! I’ll be coming back!
Feb 03, 2025 · Hunter MaddenAbsolutely lovely place and we will be back! We car camped in the primitive area and it was great. The campground is clean and the spots are spaced out. The spots are numbered well so it’s easy to find your place, that said this campground seems super chill and you could probably set up anywhere you’d like if you are in the primitive camping area. We saw Ravens, Redtailed Hawks, a Belted Kingfisher, Canyon Wren and some Armadillos! Heard a pack of Coyotes at night and the stars are SO bright. 100% will be back(no cell service 🙂)
Feb 05, 2025 · 481This place was so nice and quiet! The skies are beautiful, the scenery was perfect, the sunsets were amazing. My husband and I only got to spend a short weekend here and we barely left the park for a quick hike at Colorado bend state park. The pups and us equally loved our time here and we cannot wait to return for a longer trip. We stayed in spot 37 and it felt like a private camp to us. Bathrooms had hot showers. Management even mailed our trailer keys we accidentally left at the dump station and providing tracking the first day possible! They have been easy to get a hold of and so helpful. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a campground for RVs or tents. Property is just beautiful! We’ll be back soon!
Oct 01, 2024 · Michelle WhiteOutstanding facility! Cannot recommend this place enough. What a great surprise! Our church just held our men’s retreat here, and it could have gone better. The views are outstanding and access to the river along with lots of availability for walking trails in exploration. Makes it really really wonderful. I’m attaching some pictures to check out, if you’re rock formation fan at all you probably want to check this place out. Really cool striations and formations along the river..
