Bald Mountain Campground

Campground ★4.0

Forest Rd 130, Lovell, WY 82431, USA

4.0
This is my favorite campground in the Bighorns. It's very open, so you have great views, and I appreciate the higher altitude. Elk can often be seen on the lush slopes of Bald Mountain, which also makes for a great hike. The Medicine Wheel and Porcupine Falls are quite close. If you like to fish, the upper Little Bighorn River can be a hoot for small cutthroat and brookies. - Christopher Helmick
