Baker Creek State Park campground

McCormick, SC 29835, USA

4.0
This state park has much potential despite not having many campsites. On a good note most sites are lake front with good views. Bathhouses are clean and modern. Staff is nice and helpful. Where the problem lies is areas of washout have taken over some of the campsites and created some uneven dirt and paved roadways. They are working on solutions it appears. A new to me camp store is now open with typical items you would expect. The pavilion decking has been updated and the new to me beach area is looking about ready for the summer. - William Cain (Old Medic Doc)
