★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Quite camping with beautiful views at a great price.
July 19 · William GravesWe loved Avintaquin! The trees are tall and calming and the views of the surrounding mountains are fantastic. Also, very breathable air, it was nice to get up and away. There is a nice trail (hiking/ATV) accessed at the campground that goes through the forest that offers even more views. Really a unique, badlands feel to the area and we look forward to returning.
September 06 · Wesley AndersonCool campground. Way up in the mountains. Very remote area but nice facilities. Quiet with beautiful views.
June 17 · Marcus WhiteQuiet and beautiful. It was the middle of October so there were 2 other groups so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
October 09 · Kurt GuentherBeautiful campground! There are a lot of tall trees around most of the sites and off roading trails to use an ATV/Side by Side or just to walk and enjoy. Be advised there are a lot of chipmunks and cow patties. We didn't see any cows but saw plenty of their droppings in and around the sites, which is the main reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. The bathroom we used was clean for a vault toilet and there were a couple receptacles for garbage that we found around the campground. All in all it is a beautiful place!
