Camped here on the ocean side one night in early May—it was so beautiful. We had no issues with bugs or horses. Setting up the tent with the wind was a bit of a challenge, but we adjusted with some patience and creativity. If you’re used to easy camping with lots of amenities, you’ll be disappointed, but if you’re looking for more rustic tent camping where you walk a bit, it’s a unique and beautiful experience. My only complaint was the smell in the latrines. It would be much improved if there were signs telling people to leave the lids down. - Kelly Pike
