4.0
If this place wasn't so far off the main road I would've given it five stars. But it's remoteness makes it unique, private and serene, at least when we were there last August 2016.We came later in the evening and left early morning , but the time in between was pleasant and incredible for early-morning, quiet walks along the lake. The host was a hoot, & fun to talk to as we quickly started up a fire and made dinner. No pesky animals until Bluejay & squirrels the next morning ha ha I'd highly recommend this place, as an out-of-the-way retreat. We were one of the few in the campground so maybe it's more active earlier in the summer. - dawnie heidegger
