Aspen Acres Campground Reviews
We stopped in for a night with a bumper pool camper. Small and quaint campground. It was well maintained, gorgeous country. Hook ups worked well, hot showers, fun games to play in the club house. We have att and didn’t have service which was great for me. We were somewhere around 9,000 feet so it was quiet and cold out at night. The stars were amazing. We definitely want to go back.
Jun 29, 2025 · Shane TuckerWe stayed two nights in an outfitter tent site during Memorial Day weekend. The area is absolutely beautiful and a short drive to Bishop Castle and San Isabel state park. The staff/family that were running the camp were very friendly. Everything was clean and well maintained for the most part, though we did not have a wooden platform at our campsite which was a feature we paid extra for. We were told it was damaged during the winter and was never repaired. This is a great campground for RVs or campers, but not so much for tent camping. There is little to no privacy or space between sites. However, they do have water spigots at each site which is really nice.We won’t be returning simply because we enjoy a more peaceful and nature-focused environment when camping. If you have kids, an RV or camper, or are looking for a party/social atmosphere when camping, this is the place for you!
May 27, 2025 · Catelyn CrawfordStaying here over the 4th of July weekend was the best decision we ever made! Our puppies don’t love the fireworks noise and while very full this campground was surprisingly quiet. The Saturday food trucks and music were a great addition too. Really nice folks run it as well.
Jul 07, 2025 · Ann LawsonMy wife and I stayed at Aspen Acres Campground on Memorial Day weekend 2025. The location is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. You should be aware that there is little to no cell coverage in this area. Wifi is pretty good at the campground office but beyond there it is very spotty. The recreation room is absolutely great and we were there frequently. Due to the rainy weekend the bathrooms were not cleaned as often I think. They had a car show, live entertainment and food trucks which were quite nice. The Aspen trees are very beautiful in this location. We will definitely return to Aspen Acres.
