Apple Orchard Primitive Campground Reviews
It is a primitive campground so no frills (clean pit toilets, water available at a common faucet). The sites are spacious, each with its own picnic table & fire ring. It must have rained a lot recently because standing water was common. Was surprised the campground alarm clock went off at 8:45 am (the chorus of lawnmowers) and most likely woke up the camp neighbors. Also, the playground is present but the equipment is nominal compared to most nowadays. Checkout was 3 pm if I recall correctly.
Jun 18, 2025 · emm deeThe campground was well manicured and clean. There was plenty of room at each site. The camp store was cute but a little hard to find as the sign points to a parking lot, but you have to go all the way to the back of it and down a steep embankment. The beach is cute, and the swimming area is pretty wide, but the water doesn't get very deep for an adult. It barely goes over my head and I'm 5'2“.
Aug 09, 2018 · Melissa HLots of campsites are flooded after heavy rain as well as the playground and the area around the vault toilet.
Jun 16, 2025 · Daniela LLove pitching a tent here for the weekend with the kids. The trails are awesome, water is awesome, so much beauty in a park. The only drawback is the rocks in the water at the beach. Other than that we always have a great time here
