Aug 22, 2022 · renee shipmanAnglers Rest is such a relaxing place. It is situated in such a peaceful, serene location overlooking French Creek. Across the creek from the family friendly campground is a mountain thick with pines🌲 and other native trees. Kayaking, canoeing, floating, fishing🐟 and swimming in French Creek are activities enjoyed by Anglers Rest campers and people in the surrounding area. There is also a private pond for fishing. We usually take a morning walk around the camp ground (approx 1/2mi). Multiple hiking trails 🐿thru the woods including one that butts against a pasture with horses🐎.It is definitely my retreat from the city💚
