- Seasonal Rates: ATRC offers seasonal rates for both summer (May to early October) and winter (mid-November to March) RV sites and heated cabins. These extended stay options provide significant savings for locals looking for a regular base camp in the White Mountains. - Long-Term Stay Discounts: Campers can save 10% when they stay 7 nights or more on a campsite (excluding Saturday to Saturday bookings). This encourages longer, more immersive visits to the area.
- Holiday Rates: While not a discount, be aware that higher rates apply during specific holiday weekends (e.g., Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day) due to increased demand.
- Winter Camping Opportunities: The availability of heated cabins and winter seasonal sites, coupled with direct snowmobile trail access, presents a unique "seasonal offer" for winter sports enthusiasts who might not find such comprehensive amenities elsewhere.

Along the River Campground & Cabins Reviews
This is one of my favorite campgrounds in the Whites. We have been coming here for over 5 years, usually multiple times a season and have always had a great experience. The grounds are well cared for, sites are quiet, and the owners have always been nothing but friendly and accommodating! They have even helped out when struggling with truck/camper issues temporarily giving me a safe place to park while I went home and got things repaired. The campground is centrally located to so many great places in the Whites and perfect for those interested in visiting AMC facilities, ATV trails, hiking trails, and has easy access to downtown Bethlehem and Littleton! We will continue to come here for many years !
May 29, 2025 · Sage BedardWe have been staying here every year for at least the last 5 years. I look forward to camping season every summer and to visit ATRC. The staff is pleasant, grounds/facilities clean and easily accessible. It’s in a great area with plenty of fun things to do. Every year we visit Rek-lis Brewing and this year we went UTVing during Memorial Day weekend. Can’t wait to get back up there again this summer. (Our dog loves it too)..
May 28, 2025 · Aisling McCarthyWe discovered this campground using google searching for places to stay that had quick access to hiking. This is a very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. The have sites in the back that are fully wooded, sites in the middle that have morning sun and afternoon shade.. and sites toward the front that have full sun all day... They do have sites very close to the road, but also have sites that are near the river where you can barely hear the road noise. The owners are very nice, staff is very friendly. We booked 2 weekends in a row.. and booked another reservation before we left. There is a comfortable community spot with swings overlooking the river. Stairs near there to access the river where you can put your chair right in the water and relax. Very dog friendly, my yellow lab loves it there. The owners work hard! You can see them always out and about from early in the morning until evening doing what is needed to keep everything running. We will be making many visits to this campground. Highly recommend if you want to stay around Twin Mountain to reserve a spot here!
Jul 29, 2024 · Mike KnappStayed here in our fifth wheel and came to hike Mt Washington (cog train station is 20 minutes away). Nice, quiet, clean place. Little over 50 spots in a mix of cabins, tents, and 30/50 amp RV spots. No laundromat but the bathrooms were very clean with outside sinks for doing dishes. Good for kids with a playground and pool. The northern end is next to the highway so likely a little noisy but seems to be filled by mostly seasonal folks. No pull through sites but plenty of space for maneuvering so honestly if you can’t back up your rig and safely at that you shouldn’t be driving it. No dump station but all RV sites are full hookup. Priced VERY reasonably. I got quotes from 3 surrounding places at $20 a night more. I would definitely return here!
Aug 12, 2024 · oompsta FiemsI wish I can give more than 5 stars to this place! It is just wow! Everything is perfect! We had two spots, one to camp and another cabin. Camping spot next to river access was very beautiful! River is super duper cool. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Pool was awesome too. They celebrated their 5 anniversary on the weekend we stayed, it was a lovely celebration with good and activities. We did mt. Washington hike and it was very convenient to go to parking lot where hike starts for ammonasac ravine trail. Wanna come here every year! Kitchen has everything we can ask for! Gift shop had very cool things too. The own is super awesome too!
