Abnaki Campground Reviews
We were all very excited to come to this campground... However after we got here we were considering changing our minds and leaving. The owner Al is welcoming however the bathrooms are very dark ,gloomy, dirty . There isn't any hot water in the bathroom sinks and no hand soap in either of the 4 bathrooms. No paper towels or a way to dry your hands. And every bathroom was out of toilet paper. We will not be back. And the pricing is a little steep. Yogi bear right down the road is a little less expensive but 100x nicer . I would not recommend coming here. I'm not trying to bash the location but I needed be honest . The only positive thing about our stay is we were right on the water .
Aug 02, 2024 · Henry Chaffeeamazing campground!! we asked for a quiet, more private site and got practically an entire row to ourselves. the owner, al, was hilarious, personable and made our stay so perfect! little things like wood and ice are very cheap. the swimming is super warm and renting a kayak is very reasonably priced as well! it’s very laid back and just feels like a home away from home!however, the bathrooms are quite sketchy. there’s a renovated bathroom which is very nice, the non renovated ones are very sketchy, old, and quite creepy.overall, very beautiful and welcoming and will definitely come again.

Jul 30, 2023 · Amanda HI have to say... Bathrooms not perfect yet.. But we brought our own... The place was so awesome and so beautiful for the scenery. And * AL * is freaking amazing, so kind so considerate so easy going.. Helpful, understanding.. I feel like I left a little piece of my family when I had to leave.. If you like laid back, relaxing, nice beach to walk in.. This is the place. It's going to be an every year event now!!! WE LOVE YOU AL!!!
Aug 03, 2019 · Rebecca BakerVery disappointed in this campground. We only had water half of the time. Was told we had a lake site, which we would have had only is cutting down a dozen trees that was between our site and the beautiful lake. The campground had showers and toilets that were in a basement made of painted concrete blocks. They did have a dump station but because there was no water we couldn't rinse out our tanks.I do have to say with proper maintenance and upkeep it has potential to be a great campground as the sites are spacious and the lake is beautiful. The site we had was adjoining to our friends that went also, so we did have a good site set up.
