Yorktowne Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Giving 2 stars because the lady my roommate spoke to in person was extremely nice and helpful but the lady that has reached out to me over text was rude. She told me that we didn’t get approved for anything when we got approved for the mortgage and have legit proof of having approval for mortgage with the mortgage company they go through. Not only that but when we came in person she was rude telling us we had to apply before seeing the trailer but then why was my roommate able to see it before applying? Not only that but when we walked in when I came in she didn’t even greet us and kept trying to say she didn’t have time due to an appointment in 10 minutes after us talking to her but we where there after talking to her and did not see anyone pull up while we where sitting there in my roommates car trying to decide on if we wanted to just apply for residency and all or not. She was rude and made me at least feel like she didn’t care enough about future residence’s.
Jul 20, 2024 · Ashley SloanGoing to have to give them 1 star on the basis of the lot rent. The places they have for sale were decent homes for the price but how is lot rent higher then the mortgage would be on the home?? The lot rent is 750!! Yea $750!! && that includes NOTHING BUT TRASH!!!! Nothing but the trash!!! Ridiculous && apparently the price raises yearly in December an unknown amount!! It was just $650 so yea let that sink in. May as well buy a traditional home at that point or get one somewhere with cheaper lot rent!
Jan 05, 2024 · teetee AllenWe submitted an application, though they needed more details for a Co-Applicant who’s address matched the credit report and matched the drivers license but not the application, this was because this is the first time ever renting so they did not change mailing address they were more comfortable keeping the family address for everything. The woman who reached out via text not only was not nice but very confusing asking for bank statements. Not typing full sentences and it didn’t make sense when she texted. Since the mailing address never changed they don’t receive mail to our current address but the name is on our lease with address and is a legal document and I asked if that was ok. I got no response but I did get an email stating the same thing and I replied with the same question because we were not comfortable showing our bank statements especially receiving a half written sentence like that. I then get a rude response staying “like it stated the requirements” They weren’t even answering our questions, they were only demanding not polite very hostile and unprofessional. We weren’t even told the house we were interested in was not available, we weren’t even offered to view any available homes, and I was reaching out about a showing earlier this week and the woman only responded with yes or no she refused to actually try to find a day to get us in made it seem like and inconvenience for her and refused to even try to work with us on schedules, documents, and showings this was BEFORE the email and text I got today regard the address. All because they refused to use a legal document like a lease as proof of address and only requested bank statements and utilities as proof of address for a co applicant who has never lived anywhere other than home and didn’t change mailing address. I can’t give you something that does not exist ( Literally). As a representation of your owner and community you should be trying to get people to live here and trying your best to work with people but they acted like they couldn’t do their job. I felt like we were begging them to live there. We wanted to live here because of the area and how it’s unsafe where we are now but instead We withdrew our application informing them of how unprofessional and hostile they were being and they didn't even respond.
Nov 17, 2023 · Whitney NyeWas a resident here for 6 yrs, from 2006-2012, go back to visit friends from time to time. Nice place to live due to being close to highways and shopping. Moved because I bought a house where I actually own the land and not just the home, also wanted a better school district for my children. Not sure how management is there now, but when I lived there they were friendly and the only complaint I had was about the condition of the roads because they were full of pot holes.
Nov 17, 2023 · Fawn JamesThey keep complaining about parking infront of the parking spot and telling us they will tow cars, we went and ask to rent a parking spot and stated that is full already. One of the employees there has 4 cars park together and touching grass too but her car hasn't been towed. They also raised rent but haven't been able to fix the inside roads for the past 10 years living here, they love putting up cheap patches to get worse in about a week.
