Absolutely love Yankeeland. The new Manager has made so many great improvements and they just put in a new playground, updated the pool, added a cool fire pit area, added more store items, etc. it’s a great place to spend our spring and summer!
May 14, 2025 · Ryan JamesWe have lived here for 2 months so far while waiting to close on our house. This place is awesome in every way! Close to beaches, close to mountain ranges, close to Portland, and the best food on earth in every direction. Our dogs love to go on walks here. The people are so friendly and respectful. It seems like everyone here are all very responsible pet owners and clean up after them!To top things off, Vern, Jan, and Joni are the most friendly and accommodating people we have ever experienced. They seemingly work around the clock to make sure every little detail is carefully maintained. They are always checking to see what they can do to make our stay better and Vern keeps that pool immaculate! All of them work so hard all the time and they accomplish so much that you would think they had a staff of 20 people. If we weren't already buying a home close by, we would definitely be regular visitors here every season. Thanks for making us feel welcome and at home!
Jul 26, 2020 · Ryan & ChasNot the prettiest campsite. Pictures lie. Pool could use some TLC. Our first day there, we were greeted fairly well by surrounding neighbors. Soon after people heard us speaking a foreign language, the atmosphere changed. Not by all parties, but by the parties that mattered in this community. At first I didn't think much of it and thought I was over thinking it. Day 2 at 8pm in the evening, someone claiming to be the manager calls my wife and said she received multiple complaints about my dogs barking and that we would have to pack up our things and leave that night. They wanted me, my wife and 1 yr old daughter to leave in the middle of the night because of barking complaints. Almost everyone on the campgrounds has a dog and they all bark. We were the only ones singled out and never even given a warning that people were complaining about our dogs. Take my review however you'd like but this is one place I will never go back or ever recommend.
May 31, 2022 · Mama Nesta89Lack of signs, hard to find siteSite was good, but felt lucky as most were stuffedWifi lmao why advertise it if the whole camp does have decent coverage, can't be that much to add antennasStore closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, would.have been nice to have access to wood, honor system maybe if you gonna close.Quite time is for all, should let the seasonal know that also, loud as hell well after midnightRiver access terrible why advertise itWith all that, yes could have been better, but I would still go back
Jul 06, 2023 · LancerAffordable camp ground away from the busiest places. Nice quiet place during the week. Busier during the weekend. I liked lot number 23 for our stay. My disappointment was the men's sanitary bloc. Strong urine smell at my arrival August 8 and the showers stayed dirty from August 8 until the 14. And the wifi not working well at all. I will come back but complain if it is still the same.
