Wisconsin State Fair RV Park - Open Year-Round! Reviews
This was our very first time here with our travel trailer. The staff in the check in office were very helpful and friendly. This RV park is very clean and has nearby access to the freeway They have some pull through 30 amp and 50 amp with electricity. They also have dry sites just for parking. They have some pull through sites with full hook ups. They also have a clean laundry facility with showers and restrooms. We will definitely be back again.
Jun 17, 2025 · Penny ThomasWe stayed a week middle of May. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean laundry, showers and bathrooms. We were across the street (asphalt site) and had water and electric hookups, sewer available in main part of the park although there is a dump available. Convenient and priced right, but a little noisy, freeway on one side and near streets. Safe, saw security couple times a day. Also, he had a plan for the tornadoes that were in the area our first night!
May 24, 2025 · Steve BiddlePerfect place to stay if going to a Brewers Game and spending time Downtown. There is no doubt that this is a parking lot, spots are close together-not level and RV doors face each other, not a place to be hanging out and grilling. With that said, it is clean, safe, quiet, offers full hook ups, well-lit, convenient to all things Milwaukee. Super nice staff, Bathrooms-Showers-Laundry rooms must have been newly renovated, they are pristine and large. Dog walk area/grass in-between rows, or in back of some sites. Some sites offer shade.
Jul 12, 2024 · Rachel PageGreat location and friendly staff. Sewer and water configurations add some challenge but they are functional. It was our second stay and this time our site was near the office and entrance. The location made for more noise and “site walk throughs” but not intolerable. Festivals and events at the state fair park grounds are a nice convenience.
Jun 17, 2025 · Mark SchaeferStayed for Indycar 2024 race. 30 amp spot area had several rv’s where tow trucks were parked in drive lane, and encroaching on my spot such that arrival was difficult to back in. Fortunately other side was a smaller popup camper and across lane spot unoccupied so had on front and far side a tad of maneuvering space else the violator on other turn in side I would have not been able to park. Exit I decided because of the space violator on one side to exit the opposite/wroung direction flow to avoid accident of hitting their full pickup bed sized tow truck with bumper overhanging my spot corner. Those occupants also had a dog on about 25 foot tether and they allowed dog to urinate everywhere including the shared electric post ewww. Dog barked a lot during stay even went under my rv and once was scratching or something to my rv and owner yelled at it. That pickup truck left its bed cap top door open at night and day plus most of day liftgate open when they were on site so it extended over my lot as well. They obviously were not caring for their property as they left rv storage bay door open and its contents in full view the entire stay even overnight. When I checked in the clerk asked my name as if checking me in and someone else already had paperwork printed for my reservation so were ready for campers. If I ever stay here again, would choose a different area as others with more amenities had spaces plus extra marked gap separating from adjacent parking spot whereas 30 amp only no gap. Couldn’t tell this when reserving on line. Only one dump station in location that would require you to drive down a parking lane which was partially blocked by tow trucks parked in labe and no one enforced rules. Could have been fire code violation don’t know if fire truck could drive thru. Office only open normal business hours not late evening so not rv traveler accommodating for evening arrivals this isn’t printed on reservations only check in and out times. Website facilities photos obviously when new as now older and roofline gutter damaged in at least one spot. Did not notice constant frequent security patrol. Saw a police car once.
