For us Oklahomans, Wichita Mountains RV Park offers a compelling proposition, particularly for those who prioritize a clean, accessible, and quiet environment for their RV adventures. One of the most significant advantages for locals is the park's prime location, granting unparalleled access to the majestic Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. This means that world-class hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives are practically in your backyard, making it incredibly convenient for spontaneous weekend trips or extended stays to truly immerse yourself in nature. As residents, we know the beauty these mountains hold, and having an RV park so close enhances the experience tremendously.
The consistent feedback highlighting the park as "nice and clean" with "grass mowed" and attentive maintenance ("someone while we was there that was weed eating") speaks volumes about the care put into the property. For locals, a well-maintained and tidy park contributes significantly to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Furthermore, the presence of a "nice restroom" and a "nice new and clean laundry and bath facility" provides essential comforts that make long-term stays or even just a weekend getaway much more convenient, especially if your RV's facilities are limited or you prefer a larger space.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wasn't too crowded. Do have permanent campers that live there full time. No picnic tables, no grills, and no shade. Has a nice restroom, laundry area. Grass was mowed and there was someone while we was there that was weed eating. Nice and clean area!

June 09 · Aaron DantonOne of my favorite RV sites. Park is always very clean and quiet. Very relaxing and always some deer, turkeys and other wildlife for you to sit and enjoy. Will highly recommend to anyone interested in relaxing for a few days.
August 22 · Donald BurnsDrove by and checked the place out a month before planning to stay and it looked trashy. You’re pretty much camping out in someone’s back yard. Don’t let the pictures they post fool you. The pickleball and basketball court area looked like trash with random junk around it. Tried to cancel well in advance of staying and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and stated that their Facebook page says they don’t do refunds even though it doesn’t say that anywhere.
April 08 · Dalton WoolvertonThis is a great place to park a camper or RV. Close to everything - the mountains, the lake, Medicine Park. Just down the road from Meers Store and Restaurant and right by a local cafe called Ann’s Country Kitchen. A very limited number of spots and plenty of space between hook-ups. Well-maintained. Friendly owners. It had only been open for one month when we stayed. At that time, they had water, sewer, electric, and a little store with drinks, snacks, and a Hunt Brothers Pizza. I believe they are adding more amenities. I enjoyed the view of a mountain in one direction and farmland with hay bales in the other direction. I would definitely stay there again.
