May 19, 2025 · Ellie FalconI wish I could give a hundred stars. Loved staying at Waldo’s. JP the owner was the nicest guy and told us about the area. Park was clean and JP but a lot of effort into making it nice. It is only 9 spots right on a small river with great views. Very quiet with other nice guests. Apr 08, 2025 · MarcThis place is a find! I've been here a few times. It's only 50mins out of town. For less than $45 per couple you're floating down the Colorado for a couple hours. The owner cones out and takes you in a van to a drop off point and you climb back out down river at the camp...simple and easy. I absolutely love it.There is no shade on the river and once you're on it there's no way through it but through. So bring drinks, something with sleeves if you burn, sun lotion and some water shoes. But do this... the next river tubing spot after here is another couple hours away. There are bathrooms to change and showers to get the river and sunblock off for the ride out.
Jul 05, 2023 · David WilliamMy wife and I went for a float today. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We took tons of pictures and videos of the beautiful scenery. James was great, explaining everything to us in great detail. Being from Houston, Camp Waldo is much closer than New Braunfels and the serenity of Camp Waldo compared to the busyness of New Braunfels was a welcome change for us. Thanks James and Jana!
Jul 20, 2024 · Curtis KnisleyIt was closed and could only see it by appointment but we stumbled across this and the scenery was awesome peaceful and I would love to go back. I can't wait till I talk to someone and see about the tubing there and kayaking. The baby deer were so freaking cute
