Viking Villa Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Viking Villa Manufactured Home Community offers a popular and practical housing solution for families and individuals in the Ogden, Utah, area. Located in the 84404 ZIP code, this community functions as a versatile property type, serving as a traditional **Mobile home park** while also offering services as a **Mobile home dealer** for sales and a **Mobile home rental agency** for leasing opportunities. This range of options allows residents to choose between owning a new or used home on a leased lot, or renting a manufactured home within the community, catering to diverse financial needs.
Known as an **all-age community**, Viking Villa is a welcoming environment for families with children, retirees, and young professionals alike. Operated by RHP Properties, a large national portfolio owner of manufactured home communities, the park aims to provide safe, well-managed, and affordable living. The community amenities, which include a swimming pool, clubhouse, and playground, are designed to enhance family life and encourage social interaction among neighbors.
While the community strives for a high standard of living, potential residents should be aware of past resident feedback. Reviews indicate that management presence in the on-site office can be inconsistent, and the community is known for having an extensive set of regulations, with one former resident referencing "17 pages of rules to follow." Additionally, a serious, unsubstantiated claim of racist behavior was made against the community's contracted tow truck company. It is important for prospective residents to carefully review the community guidelines and speak with current residents to form a comprehensive view of the living experience. Despite these concerns, some long-time residents reflect on its history, noting that it "used to be one of the best mobile home parks in Ogden," though they've observed a slow decline in appearance over time, since its establishment around 1977.
Viking Villa Manufactured Home Community is conveniently located at **433 E 980 N St, Ogden, UT 84404, USA**. This location strikes an excellent balance between suburban living and urban convenience, making it a very practical choice for Utahns looking for an accessible home base in Weber County.
Viking Villa, as a professionally managed community under RHP Properties, offers a core set of services aimed at maintaining the community and facilitating the manufactured home living experience. Current HOA fees for homeownership average around $949 per month, which covers a significant portion of community costs and services.

For Utah families seeking stability and community features at a more accessible price, Viking Villa Manufactured Home Community is a compelling choice. What is truly worth choosing here is the **combination of an all-age, family-friendly environment with essential amenities**. In a competitive housing market like Ogden, the ability to own a home—often a newer, well-maintained manufactured home—and enjoy perks like a pool and a playground is a significant advantage. This model of housing offers a more attainable path to homeownership for many first-time buyers or families downsizing, particularly when compared to the rising costs of traditional housing in Weber County.
While the community has faced challenges, particularly concerning management communication and extensive rules, the decades-long history, dating back to 1977, and the continued operation under a national property manager (RHP Properties) suggest a committed effort to provide a functional community. The accessibility features, the centralized location near downtown Ogden and quality schools, and the strong community-oriented amenities make Viking Villa a practical and value-driven option for anyone prioritizing a neighborhood feel and on-site recreation for their family in Northern Utah.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I would like to give it a big fat 0 stars. The property manager is never in the office. The tow truck company they use seem to be a little bit racist. And OMG the rules! If you like having 17 pages of rules to follow this might be the place for you. If not stay away from this and all other RHP properties with AHP homes. In response to the reply from Viking Villa AHP Homes or RHP properties- Nope not going to call. That is one of my issues with you. I recently changed my first name. The contract was Thomas and Jaime Yearsely 940 N 550 E Viking Villa. We lived there for about 5 yrs 2012 to 2017 I am fine with this info being public because I have thankfully been able to move. Please check your records again. I have included a photo taken from my front porch a few days after Thom died. I lived there for another year after.
January 16 · Camilla YearsleyThis used to be one of best mobile homes parks in Ogden. It's been sad to see it slowly go down in appearance since 1977 when my parents moved here. They was one of the first to move in back then.
November 25 · Ylonda GardnerNice, quiet neighborhood. The manager, Diana, is awesome! It's a good option if you're unable to buy a house but I don't recommend living here forever. Lot rent goes up every year and I get more notices on my door for lawn/home maintenance than I ever did from the city when I rented a house. At least I own my mobile home and can have a down payment whenever we're ready to move.
March 12 · Piper KanoThis place is a joke. They forced me into signing a lease when I bought a trailer to fix. I didn't even live there, made me put down a huge deposit and then kept it because I sold the trailer and they forced me to sign those documents. They lie, cheat, and will take your money be very careful moving into this place. Oh yeah and if you are ONE DAY late they charge huge late fees. BEWARE
May 01 · JudeI feel like this park takes advantage of those who cannot afford housing. I feel like the park is not well maintained they do not check out the problems as good as they should and they continue to raise rates every single year despite having several vacancies and several run-down homes and vacant Lots where people have taken their property and left. The management in the past has been very inflexible and unforgiving let's hope that the new management can learn from the past mistakes and create an environment here that's friendly for all. The amenities that are provided here are very limited at best.
