Van Ridge Mobile Home Park Introduce
Van Ridge Mobile Home Park offers a valuable and highly sought-after affordable housing option for Washington residents, particularly in the rapidly growing Ridgefield area of Clark County. Established in 1968, this community operates on the standard land-lease model, where residents own their manufactured homes—a significant personal asset—and rent the lot, or plot, it occupies. This structure provides a crucial pathway to **homeownership** at a lower cost of entry compared to purchasing traditional site-built homes in the Vancouver/Ridgefield metro area. The park features approximately 54 units, fostering a moderately sized, close-knit neighborhood environment.
The community is an **all-ages park**, noted for being family-friendly and having "lots of kids," which contributes to a vibrant and active residential atmosphere. It is consistently described by residents as a **"nice secluded quiet area,"** ideal for those seeking a tranquil and peaceful place to live. The management and ownership are reported to be actively engaged in maintaining a high quality of life, having "worked to get undesirable tenants out," resulting in a community where the majority are now "good neighbors." This commitment to a respectable and stable tenant base is vital for a positive long-term living experience. As one resident noted, the community is currently "nearly if not completely full," which indicates its high desirability and stability in the local market.
Prospective residents must meet the park's specific criteria for renting a plot or placing a mobile home, ensuring that all tenants contribute positively to the neighborhood environment. While the age of the mobile home park can occasionally pose maintenance challenges for older infrastructure, the management is committed to addressing issues and getting the job done, underscoring a responsive approach to resident needs. The affordability factor, combined with the efforts toward building a strong, neighborly community, makes Van Ridge a significant and attractive option in the Clark County housing landscape.

Van Ridge Mobile Home Park Reviews
Which are places places in nice secluded quiet areas. This is not a bad location. It's good if that's what you're looking for. You want to place your mobile home? I don't know if they have available units right now, but I know you can't place or you can rent from the owners. But you must meet their criteria.
February 16 · Mike KnottsMy brother is the manager at this mobile home park. He and the owner have worked to get undesirable tenants out. Most of the tenants (they buy the house and rent the plot) are now good neighbors and there are lots of them. It is nearly if not completely full. (Lots of kids.) The age of the mobile home park makes it difficult when something breaks but they do get the job done.
