Valley Green Mobile Homes Park Reviews
I lived there in the late 1970s until 1981 when we moved to another state. I haven't been to Jordan since then. What I remember was being a kid and the place was haunted. (Lots of haunting experiences in the trailer I lived in. As a kid I always believed it was an Indian boy haunting the place.)We had a streaker and a peeping Tom. It was also when the CM was happening. BUT. It was my childhood and I still dream of the place , 45 years later. There were good times there with my friends. I didn't know what roaches were until I moved down south. We would go to the wash house for the tornados. We played endlessly on the old merry go round. We spent summers running around like goofballs, playing, while parents were inside smoking cigarettes. We had snowball fights in the winter and sled down the hills....Jordan was my home and I missed it for many years after. The memories are mixed with pain and hurt and best friends, Paradise Hills, walking the railroad tracks into town, watching snow fall, walking to school in snow up to my waist, kissing boys, Halloween celebrations when all the kids would run all over the park getting candy and my brother eating so much from all the chocolate he would get major belly aches. Did I know in 1981 before I left for the south, at 12 years old, that there was a "ring?" No. I didn't . We had our own family problems. And we all freaked out when we are living 1000 miles away, that that disgusting filth was right under our noses. (I saw one of those sickos on fb today. )I hope to God that the park no longer allows predators in it. I know in my childhood, in that area, kids were everywhere and predators literally had an abundance to do their sick games with. I put 4 stars because I really don't know how to rate this. It's really not about rating it. I havent been there for 45 years and I'm just putting out my testimony for those who are coming here who have watched things online. I'm allowing those people to see that during that time , there were those of us kids who were living there and we really didn't know about those things with this "group" and by the time it all blew up, I was living in another state. I do remember Jordan had good people there in the park. I babysat younger kids. I walked a wolf dog named wolf. There were neighbors who looked out for one another. And us kids played outside until dark. It was the 70s. That's how it was. It was just 25 evil, disgusting, filthy souls, had to try to take all that was good and destroy it . Making the entire town suffer. And 45 years later, people are still talking about it.God bless you and may you find peace and happiness today. And everyday. The Lord loves you.
Mar 15, 2025 · Lisa WilhelmiThis was the location of a MASSIVE cover up in 1983. Only one arrest was made, when 20+ adults were indicted. Just look up James J. Rud / Jordan Mn.
Mar 13, 2025 · Suma DubfiyahBeen here going on 10 years, no issues! Love my neighbors, quite a few have been here 40 years. I love in a quiet section, can’t speak for the whole park but there is trash in any apartment, neighborhood dwelling in the world, as there are humans that reside there. It is a manufactured community that has a very lot of double wide & newer homes. I have had more than one of my guests compliment on the park, mature trees and it’s well kept. I’m happy I moved here and it’s just a bonus to be in such a beautiful little city. I highly recommend Jordan ❤️
