Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park in Hobe Sound, Florida, has recently undergone a significant change that is highly relevant to prospective residents and visitors: a change in management. This article aims to provide a clear, factual, and balanced overview of Twin Rivers, taking into account its location, the services it offers, and crucially, the impact of its new management as reflected in recent customer feedback. Understanding these dynamics is essential for anyone considering making Twin Rivers their next home or vacation spot in the Sunshine State.
The experience at an RV or mobile home park is heavily influenced by its management and the overall environment they cultivate. While past experiences at Twin Rivers may have raised concerns, the recent transition to "corporate oriented" ownership signals a potential shift towards improvement. This article will help you navigate what to expect, allowing you to make an informed decision from a local perspective.
Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park is conveniently located at 7770 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, USA. Hobe Sound is a charming town situated on Florida's picturesque Treasure Coast, offering a relaxed atmosphere with access to beautiful natural surroundings. Federal Highway (US-1) is a major north-south artery, ensuring excellent accessibility for RVs and other vehicles traveling from various parts of Florida.
The location provides residents and guests with easy access to a variety of local amenities. Hobe Sound boasts local shops, diverse dining establishments, and essential services such as grocery stores and pharmacies, all within a short driving distance. The area is renowned for its stunning beaches, nature preserves, and opportunities for outdoor activities like boating, fishing, and hiking, including the nearby Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Being on the Treasure Coast means proximity to waterways like the St. Lucie Inlet and the Indian River Lagoon, offering a quintessential Florida experience. The strategic placement on a main highway also facilitates travel to larger urban centers like Jupiter and Palm Beach for more extensive shopping, entertainment, or healthcare needs, blending the tranquility of Hobe Sound with broader regional connectivity.
Under new "corporate oriented" ownership, Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park is likely to standardize and enhance the range of services it provides, aligning with common offerings in well-managed RV and mobile home communities. While a comprehensive list of specific amenities under the new management is still unfolding, typically, such parks offer:
- RV Sites with Full Hook-ups: Providing essential connections for water, electricity (commonly 20/30/50 amp), and sewer for RV guests.
- Mobile Home Lots: Leased spaces for residents to place their manufactured homes, often with long-term options.
- Utility Access: Ensuring reliable access to water, electricity, and sewer services for all residents.
- Park Maintenance: Regular upkeep of common areas, roadways, and landscaping to maintain a clean and appealing environment. This includes general groundskeeping to ensure the park is tidy and free from hazards.
- Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry services for convenience.
- Restrooms and Shower Facilities: Clean and accessible communal facilities.
- Community Management: Dedicated staff to oversee daily operations, enforce park rules, and address resident inquiries and concerns, with the new management aiming for improved responsiveness and professionalism.
- Mail Services: Often includes a system for residents to receive mail and packages.
- Security Measures: While specific details on security features are not provided, many RV parks implement measures for resident safety.
The most significant highlight for Twin Rivers RV & Mobile Home Park at this time is the change in management. This transition holds the promise of substantial improvements and a more positive living experience, as indicated by a recent customer update:
- New Corporate Management: The key takeaway is that "THE OLD MANAGEMENT HAS FINALLY SOLD OUT" and "THE NEW OWNERS ARE CORPORATE ORIENTED AND THINGS HAVE BEGUN TO GET MUCH BETTER." This suggests a professional approach to management and a commitment to addressing previous issues.
- Potential for Rapid Improvement: The review further notes that "things DO seem to be getting better FAST‼️" This indicates that the new management is actively working to resolve past problems and enhance the park's offerings and overall resident satisfaction.
- Established Location: Regardless of management, the park's location in Hobe Sound remains a strong feature, offering residents proximity to the St. Lucie Inlet, Indian River Lagoon, beaches, and local attractions, providing a scenic and active lifestyle.
- Community Potential: While previous issues impacted the community, the change in management could foster a more positive and stable resident environment, allowing the community to thrive. Older reviews also mention a pool and a clubhouse which are common amenities that new management would likely maintain or improve.
It is imperative to address the severe concerns raised under the previous management, as these highlight the challenges that led to the change:
- Allegations of Misconduct: A detailed review from a past customer describes significant issues, including allegations of a "thief, liars and substance abuse owner" who reportedly took a deposit for an unavailable lot and refused a refund. This review also mentions receipt irregularities and hostile interactions.
- Poor Communication and Hostility: The previous owner was accused of constantly confusing details, not returning calls, and being "extremely hostile, rude and argumentative."
- Concerns about Trustworthiness: The review explicitly uses strong language like "scammers a true thief!!!" and warns others to "avoid this place and shady character like the plague."
While these negative points represent past issues, the recent update about the new ownership is critical. It suggests that the park is actively addressing these deeply rooted problems, offering a renewed outlook for prospective residents. The sentiment of "Let's see what things are like in 6 mos....👌" reflects a hopeful but cautious optimism from the community.

Feb 25, 2025 · William RudgeThieves, liars and substance abuse owner. Took a deposit from me on a lot that was not ready to rent in a months time as verbally agreed upon than refused to return my deposit when said spot was still occupied. Owner leaves dates out from receipt for lot rentals which provides her room to argue your move in date was different so she can keep your money. She constantly confuses details and doesn’t remember anything doesn’t return calls was extremely hostile, rude and argumentative when I wanted to show her, her texts to me stating move in dates between us. Get this people she said, ‘I’m arguing about a refund on a deposit that’s on a non refundable receipt.’ Although, she said she would return my deposit if the lot would have been occupied the dates she chose for my move in date. Confusing, right? That’s how you’ll feel dealing with her I’m convinced this isn’t her first time knowingly tricking someone into renting an occupied lot in order to steal money from someone it was a scheme a setup. When I paid her the deposit she said she was sick she had the receipt filled out prior to my arrival and gave it to me on the porch outside. I’m sure that was an act too just to avoid questions or any requests I would have asked for to be made on the receipt like dates. Scammers a true thief!!! Pay attention to the reviews of others I wish I would’ve and avoid this place and shady character like the plague or you will regret it!
Apr 23, 2022 · Norma BI lived here for a few months when I was in high school and had a pretty good time. Jimmy and Catherine are nice people, Jimmy's mother (Sorry, I forgot her name) was very business like and professional. Jimmy mowed the lawn and took care of everything. If someone doesn't like this place, it's probably because they don't like simple things in life.
Mar 26, 2020 · Dane LeeAwful here. The old lady is a drama queen. They don't know me. I'll have this place closed down. Jimmy seems ok but still lots of nasty and disrespect here. Been here 3 weeks. After last night i think I'll leave. Can't believe i had to get out of bed and listen to the old lady who said she owns this place. If I'm renting a lot I own it as long as i pay the rent. I know the rules/laws and a few ate being broken. So pick at me once more and we will see who makes more dust in the air. Nasty place.
