Tut Huts RV Park Reviews
Stay if you absolutely need to. I stayed here for roughly 7 months when I relocated to Walker County, AL before leaving and I had a mixed experience. Most of the time it is quiet except for the occasional target practice someone in the area is having with their gun - from the sounds of it almost always seemed like it was coming from inside the park. It’s not much for the views when there was always a few Modelo bottles parked on the ground by the dumpster or around the random mattress on the porch of the occupied hut. Truly it’s been nothing but trashy the entire time. The laundromat is convenient to park and the community around it, but no one cleans up after themselves, the floors are absolutely filthy and I guarantee that if you have any home-training you will be cleaning out someone’s lint before your usage. If you read on the website that among the amenities there is free WiFi you will find during your stay that there is none of that at all. There are shady spots to park your RV as they say, but maybe there shouldn’t be when the shade from those trees can and will fall very near to your camper during a storm. That’s outside of their control, but a chainsaw can work wonders. As far as full hook-ups they do have that, but the sewage pipe can be located away from your RV’s black tank where you will be running your hose at an incline. The lot fee is fine - about $485/ month. Overall, I’d say unless you absolutely have to stop here you can find better even if it’s cost a little more.
Jun 29, 2025 · Corey AndersonWe’ve been staying here for 2 months and it’s excellent! The price is super reasonable, it’s very quiet, beautiful forest, and spacious spots for the camper. Also has WiFi for those rainy days stuck inside. If you need an escape this is the perfect place!

Sep 18, 2022 · ROSALIND CADLEI don't know what this place is like normally but we arrived in the dark and couldn't find our assigned parking space. There isn't an office there. No manager or camp host on site to help. There is no lighting. We had paid online, which is fine, so we just found an empty spot & parked. The place was not cleaned up with so many leaves & tree limbs & debris that we had to clear it to find hook-ups. The power connection didn't work so we had to plug into outlet in next spot. The rv park seemed full of permanent residents. Don't think we'd stay here again
