Trails End RV Park Reviews
A Slice of Heaven During a Difficult TimeI don’t even know where to begin in expressing how grateful I am for this incredible campground and the people who make it feel like home. After losing my home to a hurricane, FEMA provided my fur babies and I with a travel trailer while we search for a permanent place to live. I’ve had my share of struggles, but staying here has been one of the most comforting and beautiful experiences of my journey. This campground offers million-dollar views that take your breath away every single day. From the vibrant flower gardens to the peaceful bird sanctuary, and even views of horses in the nearby fields, it’s truly a nature lover’s paradise. There are dahlia beds and vegetable gardens that are lovingly cared for and thriving, adding color and peace to the entire area. What truly makes this place exceptional, though, is the people. Tony and Peggy are absolute gems—they are the heart and soul of the campground and go above and beyond for every guest. Glenn is always hard at work keeping everything maintained to perfection. Charlie ensures that all the plants are watered and happy, and Glenn #2 brings the vegetable gardens to life with his green thumb and passion. And of course, Joey, the owner, is incredibly kind and thoughtful—he clearly takes pride in this little community and it shows. There’s a clubhouse, washers and dryers, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel safe and supported. I’ve heard that the Fourth of July party here is legendary, with amazing fireworks and a wonderful sense of community. You’re just five minutes from a national park, 10 minutes from the parkway, 15 minutes to Walmart, and 30 minutes from Asheville. You can even have your groceries delivered! This campground has given me stability, peace, and beauty in a time when we needed it most. I will never forget the kindness and care we’ve received here. If you’re looking for a safe, stunning, and supportive place to stay—whether short-term or long-term—this is it.

May 22, 2025 · AnnieHThis was a lovely campsite! The views are AMAZING, and the area was very quiet. The creek ran right behind our site, so the white noise of that all night was so relaxing, and the kids loved playing in it. The sites are a little tight, but there's plenty of room behind your trailer to sit and watch the sunset. I interacted with Peggy by email, and she seemed so friendly, even answered my questions about a fascinating nearby structure :) We're glad we found this place! Thank you for accommodating us on short notice as well.
Sep 07, 2021 · Kimberly GarnettWe had an awesome stay. Trails End is a beautiful RV park off the beaten path just enough to offer a peaceful and quiet setting. We had full hook-up for the RV and plenty of spaces for our dog to play frisbee and go for walks. In the evenings, we sat out on our patio and marveled at the gorgeous mountain scape and lush creek that runs through the campground. Tony and Peggy, the park managers, are great people who are 100% accommodating. The campground atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect. We were 10 minutes away from the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum as well as Soco Falls and the Blue Ridge Parkway, just to name a few close attractions. We're looking forward to coming back to Trails End.
