Location and Accessibility
Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc is ideally positioned for exploring the heart of the Oregon Coast. It is located at 7805 Alderbrook Rd, Tillamook, OR 97141, USA, placing it just four miles north of the globally recognized Tillamook Creamery—a must-see destination for any Oregon trip.
The park's location offers distinct advantages for coastal exploration:
- Highway 101 Access: The park is situated right off of Highway 101, the primary coastal route, which allows for extremely easy access and an excellent starting point for day trips north to Bay City and Garibaldi, or south toward the main city of Tillamook and onward to coastal landmarks.
- Proximity to Attractions: It is within a short drive of major regional highlights, including the Tillamook Creamery and the Kilchis Point Reserve, an area featuring beautiful mowed paths and trails perfect for a nature walk.
- Tillamook and Bay City: The campground is only about a mile from Bay City and about five miles from the central amenities of Tillamook. This convenient access means guests are close to grocery stores, gas stations, and local eateries without having to deal with the hustle of a dense city location.
- Coastal Activities: The facility is a short drive or walk away from Tillamook Bay and the surrounding area, offering excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation such as clamming, crabbing, fishing, and boating. There is also a park and walking trail system just across the highway.
- Check-In Information: The office operates with set hours, and for the convenience of travelers, reservations are clearly communicated via email, ensuring a smooth check-in process even for those arriving when the front desk has limited hours.
Services Offered
The park is well-equipped to provide a comfortable and hassle-free camping experience, focusing on high-quality basics and comprehensive hookup options. Both RV sites and the unique rental yurts are designed with the traveler's needs in mind.
- Full RV Hookups: All RV sites are full hookup, including connections for water, sewer, and electric, available in both 30 Amp and 50 Amp service to accommodate all modern recreational vehicles.
- Spacious and Accessible Sites: The sites are notably large pull-throughs, designed for easy maneuvering and accommodating multiple slide-outs, which is a significant plus for big rigs. Sites feature a combination of gravel and groomed grass areas, and all sites are furnished with a picnic table.
- Clean Public Facilities: The park boasts immaculate restrooms and showers. While the showers require a small fee (paid via quarters), they are consistently reviewed as being clean and featuring hot water. There is also an excellent, well-maintained laundry facility on-site.
- Connectivity and Entertainment: Complimentary services include Free Wi-Fi access and Cable TV hookups at the RV sites. It should be noted that the Wi-Fi can be spotty, and cable equipment may be "old school," but the services are provided.
- Additional Rentals: The park offers modern, comfortable Yurt rentals which come equipped with amenities such as a heater, mini-fridge, coffee pot, and free Wi-Fi, offering a unique "glamping" experience.
- Community and Storage: A Community fire pit and Horseshoes area are available for guest use. The park also provides Sanitary Dump Station access and offers options for RV and Boat storage.
- Pet Policy: The park is Pet Friendly, allowing travelers to bring their companions, and it features a designated grassy dog area.
Features / Highlights
While the park is a simple, no-frills option, its highlights revolve around the quality of its maintenance, the friendliness of the staff, and the convenience it provides for a Tillamook trip.

Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc Reviews
The yurt was clean and had a few nice amenities inside like a coffee pot and heater. The bathrooms were well maintained. The park is sandwiched between Hwy 101 and another road. The traffic on both were super loud and that coupled with super hard mattresses made it very difficult to sleep.
July 07 · Heather BartlettMy husband & I spent 2 nights here. The office was closed, however we had a reservation & received a email with all the check in info needed. Location is convenient to Tillamook.RV sites are large. We had a pull through with full hookups. Quiet.
July 24 · Tina ScottUnfortunately we had to cancel our reservation on the day of arrival. Management was very understanding and kind. We will definitely try again to stay here on another trip. The customer service is excellent.
August 18 · Trish AlexanderEnjoy the affordability of the yurts! Also gives the opportunity to still enjoy an open fire camping like vibes. We’ve stayed here twice and will be back! The freeway doesn’t bug me and again it’s an affordable stay for the coast!
July 07 · Kat92RV PARK - It's abit small no one to check you in before 5? . Lots of yurts. Right off of 101 but pretty quiet at night. Close to everything. Bathrooms eh, ok. Showers only 1 working on our stay. Pay showers
