While it embraces a more rustic feel in some aspects, it strives to provide essential comforts and a friendly environment. Whether you're seeking a quiet base for exploring Kentucky's famous attractions or simply a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, Three Springs Campground and RV Park offers a welcoming and supportive environment where your comfort is a priority. It's the perfect spot to experience the true tranquility of Kentucky's countryside.
Three Springs Campground and RV Park is situated at 595 Campground Rd, Sadieville, KY 40370, USA. This location offers a unique blend of secluded natural beauty and strategic proximity to some of Kentucky’s most significant attractions.
One of the primary benefits of this location is its close distance to the world-renowned Ark Encounter. The campground is only about 10 miles south of the Ark Encounter, making it one of the closest RV parks for visitors planning to explore this impressive attraction. This convenience allows guests to easily commute to and from the Ark without lengthy travel times, maximizing their visit. The Creation Museum is also within a reasonable driving distance, providing another major point of interest for visitors to the area.
While the park is praised for being "out in the boonies" and offering a quiet, remote feel, it’s not entirely isolated. It's located "not far off I-75," which is a major interstate highway running through Kentucky. This provides good accessibility for RVers traveling from various directions, though guests should note that the road leading to the campground, Campground Road itself, is described as "very narrow." This suggests that larger RVs should exercise caution and awareness, potentially calling ahead for tips on navigating the approach. Some reviews indicate that meeting another RV on this road could be challenging, so preparedness and attentive driving are advisable.
Despite the rustic approach road, once at the campground, guests find themselves in a peaceful setting "surrounded by trees." This gives the sense of a true escape into nature. For daily needs, Sadieville is a small community, but nearby Georgetown and Lexington offer more extensive services, including grocery stores, gas stations, and dining options, all within a manageable drive. This balance of rural tranquility and convenient access to attractions and necessities makes Three Springs Campground and RV Park a well-positioned spot for exploring Northern Kentucky.

This service is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for a nominal fee of $10 per tank. There is also a free dump station available upon checkout.
- Clean Bathhouse Facilities: Guests have access to clean and convenient bathhouse facilities with showers and toilets, located a short walk from campsites and cabins.

Three Springs Campground and RV Park Reviews
Very accommodating, quaint and cute RV park. The Owner let our group ministry Campers For Christ ministries of about 20+ people meet in their meeting hall the entire time we were here. What a blessing that campground has been especially want to praise Tim and Anne the grounds crew/maintenance. Husband and wife team treat this facility like it’s their own. Tim and Anne Went above and beyond to accommodate us, help us, welcome us, and then some I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from a better team. If I could get Tim and Ann 10 stars on this review, I would. God bless you all.
Jun 09, 2025 · Shane HerrenThe people who run the campground are incredibly nice. If you like “out in the boonies” then this campground is for you. There is no sewer. They do have someone who will empty your sewer for $10.You have to go down a very narrow road to get the campground. If you meet another RV coming out you are in trouble. There is LITERALLY nothing there for kids to do…unless you want to hike the trails with all of the ticks. The playground is run down and parts are broken and not fixed. You are 16 min from the Ark Encounter which is nice. It would have been better for us to have camped closer to Cincinnati. We would have moved, but they take your money in advance and won’t give your money back.As far as trying to get into your spot and leveling your RV…it is a challenge. The gravel and land are not level.I’m hoping the owners will continue to make improvements.
Jun 06, 2025 · Julia QuinnThree Springs Campground is in great need of fixing up. I would describe it as old and tired. Zero amenities. No sewer hook ups. Couldn’t walk the nature trails as we were covered with ticks when we tried. Stayed here in our 36 foot travel trailer to visit the Ark and museum. We had to drive over narrow cement bridges with no guard rails to get in and out of our site. The maintenance family there was very nice and accommodating. The bathrooms, though old, were clean. Not worth the price.
May 16, 2025 · Darin PopeAfter reading some horrible reviews we thought this place was a disaster.....It is NOT! It is a beautiful park in the making. It was easy to back in & our 3 kids that are all 3 and under enjoyed theirselves! IN NATURE & the playground. What a lovely overnight stay while we visited Noah's Ark!
Jun 12, 2025 · Sarah TWe spent a few days here to see the sites…Kentucky Horse Park, The Ark Encounter and we also were able to take in some horse racing. This park is set back and nestled in a quiet woodsy atmosphere. The new owner is doing many improvements and repairs. We were quite comfortable and very happy with the site AND the staff!
