The Oriental RV Park isn't just a place to park your RV; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm and tranquility of Oriental. Known for its laid-back atmosphere, friendly locals, and a vibrant boating community, Oriental offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of larger cities. Whether you're a seasoned RVer passing through, or a North Carolina resident looking for a peaceful long-term retreat, understanding the specific attributes of The Oriental RV Park can help you envision your next adventure. We'll delve into the details that make this park a favored spot, ensuring you have all the information to plan your visit.
The Oriental RV Park is conveniently located at 1105 Broad St Ext E, Oriental, NC 28571, USA. This address places it perfectly for enjoying all that Oriental has to offer. Oriental is nestled on the Neuse River and embraces the Pamlico Sound, making it a prime destination for water enthusiasts. The park's location on Broad Street Extension means it strikes an ideal balance: it's close enough to the heart of the village for easy access, yet far enough to provide a quiet and peaceful environment for relaxation.
One of the most significant advantages of this location, as highlighted by many visitors, is its walkability. From The Oriental RV Park, you can comfortably walk to a variety of essential services and local attractions. This includes a grocery store for all your provisions, charming local restaurants offering a taste of coastal Carolina cuisine, and welcoming pubs where you can unwind. The proximity to the waterfront is also a major draw, allowing easy access to the town's renowned sailing culture, fishing opportunities, and scenic views. For those who prefer to leave their RV parked and explore on foot or by bike, this accessibility is a key highlight, minimizing the need to drive and maximizing the enjoyment of Oriental's quaint charm.
While specific detailed lists of services are often best confirmed directly with The Oriental RV Park management upon inquiry or reservation, RV parks generally provide a core set of services essential for comfortable RV living. Based on common offerings and visitor experiences at well-regarded RV parks, you can typically expect:
- RV Sites with Hookups: The park likely offers various RV sites equipped with full hookups, which generally include water, sewer, and electrical connections (commonly 30 and/or 50 amp service) to ensure all your RV's systems are operational.
- Access to Local Amenities: A key "service" of this park is its prime location, providing residents with walking access to Oriental's town center. This includes access to local businesses, dining establishments, and entertainment venues.
- Management Support: As indicated by positive reviews, the presence of a dedicated manager like Warren, who goes "out of his way to make sure everything is right," points to a responsive and helpful management team. This level of personalized service can significantly enhance a guest's stay.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: The mention of "Eli, the camp dog" suggests a welcoming attitude towards pets, making it a comfortable place for those traveling with their furry companions. While specific pet policies (e.g., leash requirements, waste disposal) should always be confirmed, a pet-friendly atmosphere is a valuable service for many RVers.
For long-term guests, further amenities might be available, such as mail services or more extensive Wi-Fi connectivity, but these should be verified directly with the park.

The Oriental RV Park Reviews
Don’t want to tell too many people about this place… but what a gem! Walking distance to grocery, restaurants, theatre, pubs and waterfront - a great RV stopover or for an extended stay. We stayed two months. Warren, the manager, is a stand up guy, who will go out of his way to make sure everything is right. Eli, the camp dog, is great company for your pouch.
