The Dam Park Reviews
Sometimes all you want is the quietness...This is the first time we stayed here. We didn't know what to expect, but we were very pleased. It's a smaller camp ground, compared to others, but this was nice! The grounds were clean, the facilities were nice and clean. Tina (Staff) was very nice and friendly.Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We'll be staying here for future visits.
Jun 02, 2025 · Rey DeLaGarzaI was looking for a place to take my daughter for her first real camp out. The Dam Park was perfect! The park was set up beautifully. Everyone was so nice, the restrooms were very clean, and the campsite for our tent was perfect. There’s easy access to fish and swim in the river and really nice cabanas riverside. The fishing pond was a blast and the camp store had a great supply of anything we forgot to bring. My daughter and I are already planning our next trip there!
Mar 16, 2025 · Brian YourmanOutstanding grounds. Well kept. Friendly staff. It was a great experience to get outdoors and have fun with family and friends. We appreciate Tina for driving our camping items (and me) to our campsite. The park is located on riverbed grounds at the southern side of The New Braunfels Dam, which creates Lake Dunlap.I left a walking stick, and they were quick to find it and hold it. As someone out of shape, I managed to get over 12,000 steps in one day.
Apr 07, 2025 · Teresa O'KelleyThe general store was closed all weekend. Didn't see staff at all. The fishing pond was ok, and grass needed to be cut. There is not much space between sites. I'm glad we didn't have neighbors. It was quiet. Sorry but we will be staying next door rv camp site they have swimming pool and activities.
Jul 02, 2025 · Charlotte TorresThis place has great customer service and awesome bathrooms. It’s very quiet and tranquil. I came to party and raise hell and this is not the place for that. Kid and pet friendly. There was a cool group singing karaoke down by the cabanas.
